January 21- Progress Report

Hi all! I hope your holidays were fantastic, and that you are settled into the new year. here is a quick and dirty progress report.

EDITING

The book is almost fully edited for format. We are down to the last 30 or so pages of text left to be edited and the photographs. Photographs are tricky and jleWings and I are working to figure out the best way to do it. Its a ton of trial and error.

IP LICENSING

I have approval on the use/license of certain NHL intellectual property.


HOCKEY FIGHTS CANCER

While the NHL is fully on board with our project, We encountered a bit of a setback with respect to affiliating ourselves with Hockey Fights Cancer. As a result, we will be changing the title of the Book. As it stands, we will still contribute all net proceeds to Hockey Fights Cancer. In the event they cannot accept our contributions, we will - as a group figure out what Hockey related charity to donate to.

COVER ART

I know many of you got a preview of the gorgeous work Nihn has been doing for us last month- Hooray for Nihn!!!!! Once we determine a final Book Title, we will ask him to create one more proto-type. Thanks for your hard work and being patience Nihn.

Have you turned your bio in yet? Have you told us what you want us to use as your picture? Pictures or team logos should be sent to myself or Cassie in a jpeg format, 200x200 pixels or less than 50kb. If you use a photo, you must be sure that it a photo you have legal right to use.
